Hewston Higgins Membership

Annual membership. A library that can grow with you.

Choose family, educator, school or trust access through the Membership Finder. Every membership is annual, with optional 3- and 5-year agreements billed once per year.

What a school is actually buying

Not one book. Not a download folder. A complete learning system.

Membership brings the books, eligible digital resources, staff access, secure licensing, onboarding and usage reporting into one managed school relationship.

Growing member library

Search eligible resources by topic and stage. New eligible releases can be added to the active plan as the Hewston Higgins library develops.

Whole-setting staff access

Approved staff work under the school's licence instead of passing uncontrolled files between personal folders and devices.

Secure licensed resources

Protected files are delivered through the portal. Downloadable PDFs are identified to the licensed organisation and access can be monitored.

Usage & accountability

School administrators can see resource activity, active users and areas being used — useful for internal review and renewal conversations.

30-day onboarding

Start with priorities, staff access and a focused first collection rather than dropping a large library on the school with no guidance.

Ongoing value

Membership continues to provide portal access, eligible additions, staff management and reporting while the licence remains active.

Price protection

Three- and five-year school agreements are billed annually and protect the agreed annual rate for the contracted term, subject to agreed licence changes.

Physical options when needed

Add durable books, class sets, structured programmes or visits without confusing those purchases with the digital membership.

Physical + digital

Books on the table. Resources at your fingertips.

Membership connects permanent physical books with a private digital library, printable teaching materials and resources that can keep growing across the year.

School ordering: qualified schools can now submit an invoice, purchase-order or secure card-link request. Card details are never entered on this website; a payment-provider link is issued after licence checks.
Built to keep expanding

More than a folder of worksheets.

The membership is designed around connected learning worlds: books introduce the ideas, while printable activities, lesson support, classroom visuals and follow-up resources help families and educators keep using them.

Cal learning worlds

Supporting activities, discussion prompts, certificates and teacher materials connected to Cal adventures.

Beeazy Maths

Visual, story-led maths resources designed to make early number work feel more engaging and less like repetitive worksheet practice.

Growing new ranges

Reading and science resources can be added as those ranges develop, alongside new Cal and Beeazy materials.

Fresh resources

When membership opens, active members will receive access to newly released resources as they are added to their plan.

Staff access

Built for the people actually using the resources.

Give approved staff a clear place to find books, teaching materials and digital resources, while keeping access organised under the school licence.

School licence rules

The school size determines the minimum eligible membership.

Schools complete the Membership Finder before a membership is shown. The recommendation is based on the declared current pupil roll and number of settings. Lower tiers are not offered as cheaper alternatives to larger schools.

Small SchoolUp to 150 pupils£349 / year
Standard School151–350 pupils£499 / year
Large School351–700 pupils£699 / year
Large Setting701+ pupilsFrom £999 / year
MAT / Multi-site2+ registered settingsTailored annual quote

Agreement length: 1, 3 or 5 years. Every option is billed annually; a longer agreement does not require all years to be paid upfront.

Price protection: the agreed annual membership price is protected for the contracted term unless the licence scope changes, for example because pupil numbers or the number of settings move into another band.

Resource use: membership is licensed to the named household, educator, school or trust. Usage is monitored for licence protection; no public hard download allowance is being advertised until the commercial limits are formally approved.

Membership Finder

Tell us how you will use Hewston Higgins. We’ll show the licence that fits.

Complete the questions first. For schools and trusts, the licence is calculated from pupil roll and number of settings; the result is the minimum eligible licence, not a menu of cheaper tiers.

1. Who are you buying for?
2. How many schools or settings need access?
3. How many pupils are on the current school roll?

Choose the band containing the school’s current total pupil roll. This sets the minimum eligible single-school licence.

3. Approximately how many pupils are covered across the group?

This helps us size the trust or multi-site licence. Final activation is based on the registered settings covered by the agreement.

2. What stage is your child at?
2. How will the educator licence be used?
4. Who needs to use the resources?
What do you want the membership to support?

Choose as many as apply.

Which agreement length would you consider?

All options are billed annually. Longer agreements do not require payment for all years upfront.

What stage are you at with purchasing?
Approximate annual resource budget
Would you like physical books as well?

Membership covers the resource ecosystem. Physical books are separate unless you add a book plan, class set or programme.

Finally, where should we send your membership recommendation?

Membership prices and eligible licence options are shown only after the finder is completed.

Annual membership only

Choose the commitment that suits you — without paying several years upfront.

Every Hewston Higgins membership has a 12-month minimum. Three- and five-year agreements are billed annually and are designed for people who want continuity and better long-term value.

1 year

Annual

One-year membership with annual access. For schools, a one-off onboarding and licence-setup fee applies.

3 years

Partnership

Billed annually. No annual re-signing during the agreed term. School onboarding fee waived and family pricing improves.

5 years

Long-term

Billed annually. Strongest long-term family value, school onboarding fee waived and continuity protected for the agreed term.

Licence protection

The right licence follows the size and scope of use.

Lower-cost memberships are not interchangeable with larger licences. Eligibility is based on who is using the resources, how many settings are covered and, for schools, current pupil roll.

  • Educator access is for one named professional
  • Single-school licences cover one registered setting
  • School tiers are matched to current pupil roll
  • Two or more settings require a multi-site / MAT licence
  • Resource access follows the licence level and any allowance stated in the written agreement
  • Pupil roll and licence scope can be reviewed at annual billing
1 / 3 / 5

Annual billing, longer commitment

Three- and five-year agreements keep the relationship in place without asking the customer to pay the whole contract upfront.

Families

Schools & trusts

Four clear licence routes. The school size decides the route.

Every single-school package includes the protected member library, whole-setting staff access, licensed PDF delivery, staff/user management and usage reporting. The pupil roll determines the minimum eligible licence; larger schools cannot select a smaller tier.

  • Whole-setting access for approved staff
  • Eligible Cal, First Steps and Beeazy school resources
  • Protected downloads identified to the licensed school

Two or more schools always use this route; one school licence cannot be shared across settings.

Agreement length

The package stays the same. A longer agreement changes onboarding and price certainty.

Schools do not have to prepay three or five years. The annual licence is billed once each year during the agreed term.

1 year

Annual agreement

  • 12-month licence
  • Annual billing
  • One-off onboarding / licence setup fee applies
  • Renewal reviewed at the end of the year
3 years

Partnership agreement

  • 36-month commitment
  • Billed annually
  • Onboarding / licence setup fee waived
  • Agreed annual membership rate protected for the term, unless licence scope changes
  • No annual re-signing
5 years

Long-term partnership

  • 60-month commitment
  • Billed annually
  • Onboarding / licence setup fee waived
  • Agreed annual membership rate protected for the term, unless licence scope changes
  • No annual re-signing

If pupil numbers, the number of settings or the agreed scope materially changes, the licence can be moved to the appropriate level at the next billing point or by agreement.

Physical books

Membership and books work together — but they are not the same product.

Families can add a recurring book plan. Schools can add class sets, library packs, classroom programmes and visits. This keeps the membership valuable while preserving the physical-book business.

Family Book Plan 4

Four physical books across the year — one each quarter.

Family Book Plan 6

Six physical books across the year — one every two months.

School class sets

Books-only bulk orders or themed collections for classrooms and libraries.

Class programmes & visits

Pupil books, teaching resources and optional author-led sessions.
